This is also not a household name but still makes it to be the second fastest car in the world. At mileage of 270 mph it is really fast. There is debate whether it qualifies as a production car since it is hand built. It has combination of a lotus Elise chassis and a dazzling 1244 horsepower with a 7-litre twin turbocharged V8. This vehicle has an absolutely sexy interior and an awesome exterior design. It is relatively cheaper than the koensigsegg at a price of US $ 1.2 million.

For a few years the Bugatti Veyron super sport was named the fastest car in the world. It also holds the title of the first car to cross the 250mph mark. With a top speed of 268mph it is only 5mph less than the fastest car in the world. It can reach higher speeds in no time making it look effortless. It is equipped with an 8-litre quad turbo W16 engine and a horsepower of 1200. This car can go from zero to 60 in 2.4 seconds. It is so comfortable that it is a joy to ride it. Well this is a German built car which is extremely fast though not the fastest in the world yet. The car is built to look like the Porsche 911. At a maximum speed of 257mph it is a beast on the road.it has unique technology and has a 4.0-litre flat 6 engine which allows it produce horsepower of 1120. It can speed from zero to 60 in 2.9 seconds. The company gives buyers an avenue to personalize and customize their vehicles to their liking. Therefore the customer decides the design, the color and the performance.

This car has held the title of the fastest cars for years; it was even reinstated in the book in the year 2013. It is a mid-engine sports car. It is equipped and modified with a 6.3 liter twin turbocharged V8 engine that enables it generate a horsepower of 1287 which is really impressive. It has a top speed of 256mph. it can hit 200mph in under 16 seconds. However,it has no electronic driver aids to help in driving by controlling the power. It offers a pure bliss for an experienced driver with talent but a near death experience for one without talent. It goes for €550,000 price tag.
